Perth & Kinross Council commissioned Bigg Design to create a screen to help manage and hide a collection of bins and an unsightly electrical cabinet located at the corner of the new Perth Theatre development.

Sited on Cutlog Vennel in the heart of Perth’s Cultural Quarter

Before the intervention, the lane was cluttered with bins and an unsightly electrical cabinet - impeding access and making an eyesore at the front of the new Perth Theatre..

Located on the corner of ‘Cutlog Vennel’, this lane of medieval origins was once used to transport sawn timber. Inspired by local Perthshire logging, Bigg Design created a graphic illustration style that was hand-painted onto the screens and complemented the Theatre’s pared back aesthetic. Careful planning led to a smooth and quick install.
